STACK 4.5 is out – now with GeoGebra implementation!

Exciting news!

Our project result AuTo has gone public! With STACK 4.5 out now, people can implement GeoGebra applets easily into their STACK questions. One of the big goals of our project has finally been reached.

Many thanks to all involved, especially our project member Tim Lutz, who has been working on the code from early on.

For all those who would like to know how to implement GeoGebra applets into STACK 4.5, see the documentation here: http://docs.stack-assessment.org/en/Authoring/GeoGebra/

4th Doctoral Students’ Conference: Tradition, Development & Innovation in Didactics

María Sanz-Ruiz gave a presentation entitled “How is STACK useful for learning about linear equations? / ¿Qué utilidad tiene STACK para aprender sobre ecuaciones lineales?” at the IV Congreso de Estudiantes de Doctorado: Tradición, Desarrollo e Innovación en Didáctica on Thursday 23 November 2023.

The event, which took place virtually, was organised by Babeș-Bolyai University (Romania), Johannes Kepler University (Austria), Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (Argentina) and Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (Uruguay). In her presentation, Maria focused on solving linear equations. A summary of the presentation is available in the proceedings.

Transnational Meeting in Edinburgh

We had a very productive meeting in Scotland’s capital last week. The Edinburgh team did a great job with organising both working and leisure time. As to working, they invited professional videographer Paul Maguire to do some recording with us – looking forward to the results coming next! And, of course, we spend a considerable amount of time to round up our work on Digital Task Design, results coming up on our AuthOMath website soon. And as to leisure time: “Sláinte!”
